A few days ago we celebrated the birth of the Saviour of the world, our Lord Jesus Christ. He lived a life that was well spent because He did exactly what His Father wanted Him to do (John 4:34). He was born in season and He fulfilled His purpose. You have also been born in season and God has a plan for your life. There could be no better time for you to be on earth than now. You were brought from eternity into this season for a reason. The reason you were born is beyond buying good clothes, cars and houses for yourself. There is a gift, a passion, a talent, a ministry God has given you to bless the world around you with. You were born for impact. You were born to make a change and create a difference in a constantly decaying world.
People are concerned about the business of life – bothered about what to eat, what to wear, what to live in, what to drive, etc. And the outcome of all these has been the decay and deterioration of life around the world. We have loose morals and values, wickedness of various forms, failed systems in every place, and increased poverty and sicknesses. Fulfill your purpose in God and you would discover that you would be contributing to the sustenance and improvement of life. Because God would use you to touch lives positively, give hope to the hopeless, help people advance in life and bring them closer to God.
As you proceed in the New Year, pursue the purpose God has given you. This is what you should focus on and not just the acquisition of earthly possessions. These things are bye products which accrue to the one who pursues the purpose or vision God has given him or her. As you fulfill the purpose of God, the glory of God is revealed in your life and through your life. The beauty of God clothes you and distinguishes you from mere men.

The sky is not your limit; rather your thoughts define your limit. You can only achieve what you can think about. The natural human mind at its optimum performance is very limited and our thoughts are too. These thoughts define how far we can go this year. The Bible tells us that God’s thoughts are higher than ours and I am glad to let you know that they are not beyond our reach. We can think like God and do greater things by His strength. This is possible through His Spirit who reveals the deep things or thoughts of God to us. His Spirit helps us align our thoughts with His thoughts and keeps us connected for a flow of Godly wisdom and ideas. God can do exceedingly more through us than we can ever think about (Eph 3:20), when we are connected to him.

We understand from Scriptures that the worlds were framed by the Word of God (Heb. 11:3). Life consists of various sceneries and images. You can choose to frame the images and sceneries you want to make a part of your life this year by the Word of God. Speak the good word of God concerning all aspects of your life. Begin to confess the promises of God every day and you shall see God’s best established in your life this year in Jesus’ name.

Start fulfilling the purpose of God for your life by stepping out in faith to do what God has put in your heart to do. The best time to start is now even if you don’t have the full picture or all you need. Sometimes we don’t get God’s next instruction until we take the first step. Prayerfully act in faith and you shall find strength to do great exploits (Dan. 11:32b)
This year would surely be great and wonderful for those who would fulfill the purpose of God for their lives. Go for it.
